Eric Loeppky, Men's Volleyball

Eric Loeppky had a night to remember in the Canada West championship match, as he collected a career-high 24 kills to lead the Spartans. Despite losing to Brandon in a thrilling five-setter, Loeppky not only had 24 kills but he did so while hitting an impressive .391. The third-year left side, who was a Canada West First Team All-Star this year, also had nine digs and two blocks for a match-high total of 26.5 points.

Loeppky and his Spartans teammates will now move on to the U SPORTS Championship, where they will play McMaster, who lost to Queen’s in the OUA final, in the quarter-finals Friday at 3 p.m. (PT).
