MSOC (UPDATED): SPARTANS PLAY UBCO MONDAY, TRU GAME REMAINS POSTPONED

LANGLEY, B.C. –Trinity Western's men's soccer team will open its 2018 Canada West campaign Monday, with their previously postponed match with UBC Okanagan rescheduled for 3 p.m. (PT) in Kelowna, B.C.

The Spartans postponed contest with Thompson Rivers, which had been scheduled for Sunday, will be rescheduled at a later date.

The postponements were due to smoke from the ongoing forest fires in British Columbia.

TWU will host Victoria Aug. 31 in its home-opener at the Spartans Chase Office Field.

The Canada West Board of Directors approved a new air quality policy earlier this week, which recommends that members postpone a match if the AQHI is seven or greater.
