    WHISTLER, B.C. – In an historic moment for Trinity Western University, the Spartans men’s and women’s hockey teams were officially voted in to join the Canada West conference, elevating TWU’s hockey teams to Canada’s top tier of university sports (U SPORTS), beginning in 2020-21.

Deugau, Mills and Jarrett Fontaine (Humboldt, Sask.) were also named to the BCIHL’s First All Star Team.

With the win the Spartans will head into the Christmas break with 21 points (10-1-0-1), while the Clan will finish the fall semester with 12 points (6-5-0-0).
