Men's Cross Country

SPARTANS NO. 6 IN CASCADE CONFERENCE PRESEASON MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY POLL

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Corban University was chosen to take the crown in the 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll, released Friday by the conference office.

Corban earned the top spot with five first place votes and 128 points. The Warriors strong program is preparing to make a breakthrough this season. College of Idaho also earned five first place votes along with 125 points to claim the No. 2 spot. The Yotes won the CCC and NAIA title last year.

Eastern Oregon University secured the No. 3 spot with the final two first place votes and 116 points. Lewis-Clark State College ranked No. 4 with 107 points and Southern Oregon University rounded out the top five with 97 points.

Trinity Western University ranked No. 6 with 77 points followed by Northwest University with 71 points. Oregon Tech tallied 66 points while The Evergreen State College had 55 points in the No. 9 spot.

Bushnell University (40 points), Walla Walla University (28 points), and Warner Pacific University (20 points) completed the poll in the No. 10-12 spots, respectively. Trinity Western and Warner Pacific's new programs aim to make an immediate and significant impact in the conference.

The 2025 CCC Cross Country Championships are slated for November 7th, hosted by Corban in Salem, Oregon.

As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 13 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cross country, and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens.
