LANGLEY, B.C. –Trinity Western forward Adam Hajdecki (Surrey, B.C.) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after playing 180 minutes on the Spartans back line as TWU finished the weekend with a tie and a loss.
On Friday night the third-year business student helped the Spartans maintain their unbeaten season with a 1-1 tie with the Saskatchewan Huskies.
Hajdecki followed up on Saturday with another strong performance as the Spartans fell 1-0 to the No. 10 Alberta Golden Bears.
TWU is now 3-1-5 and sits in third place in the Canada West Pacific Division.
The Spartans will head back on the road this coming weekend, September 29-30. TWU will travel to Kelowna, B.C. to take on the UBC Okanagan Heat on Friday night at 5:30 p.m. and then travel to Kamloops, B.C. to battle the Thompson Rivers WolfPack on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. Both matches can be seen live on Canada West TV.
