LANGLEY, B.C. –Trinity Western wing Lynden Duggan (Edinburgh, Scotland) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after a solid match in the Spartans 32-17 loss to the No. 2 nationally ranked Victoria Vikes this past weekend in Victoria.
The third-year Human Kinetics student was heavily involved in all aspects of the Spartans game on Saturday as he finished the afternoon with one try and one jackal to go with five tackles and 10 carries.
TWU is now 0-3 in Coastal Cup play this weekend.
The No. 5 ranked Spartans will head back home this coming weekend when they will host the UBC Thunderbirds on Saturday, October 7. Match time at the LEC northwest field is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and can be seen live on the Rugby Network.
