LANGLEY, British Columbia – For the second week in a row Trinity Western cross country runner Constance Nankivell (Edinburgh, Scotland) has been named the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week, after making it back-to-back wins with a first-place win at the Bill Roe Classic at Hovander Homestead Park Saturday afternoon in Bellingham, Wash. The victory follows up her winning the Pacific Lutheran University Invitational on September 21 in Seattle, Wash.
Nankivell won the six-kilometre Hovander course with a winning time of 20:18.3, bettering a field of 119 athletes.
Nankivell and the rest of the Spartans will be back competing on October 12 in the Stewart Cup at West Confederation Park in Calgary, Alta.
