LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western forward Connor Farren (Cloverdale, B.C.) has been named the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after finishing the weekend with three goals in the Spartans home-and-home series with the No. 3 UBC Thunderbirds this past Thursday and Friday.
The sports management student had one goal in Thursday’s 6-3 loss at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C., and two goals in the Spartans 6-3 road loss at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre in Vancouver, B.C.
Farren and the rest of the Spartans are now off for the Christmas Break. TWU will be back in action on January 10-11 when they will travel to Winnipeg to take on the Manitoba Bisons. Game time is set for 7 p.m. (CT) on Friday, and 2 p.m. (CT) on Saturday. Both games are at the Wayne Fleming Arena and can be seen live on Canada West TV.
