LANGLEY, British Columbia – Trinity Western third-year thrower Erica Udoh (Winnipeg, Man.) has been named the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week after breaking the Trinity Western Spartan weight throw record this past Saturday at the Inland Northwest Invitational in Spokane, Wash.
The natural science student bettered her own Spartans record by more than a metre with a throw of 15.38m. Udoh, whose previous TWU record was 14.06m (Feb. 24, 2024), is ranked 11th in U SPORTS.
Udoh and the rest of the Spartans will have a week off before heading to the Whitworth Invitational on February 14-15 in Spokane, Wash.
