Jordan Low (Port Moody, B.C.) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after scoring once with four total shots in this past weekend's games at the No. 2 Victoria Vikes and the No. 1 UBC Thunderbirds.
On Friday night in a 3-1 loss against Victoria, the fourth-year scored the Spartans' lone goal in the 70th minute on a header from a cross by third-year midfielder
Marcel Bona. Low finished the contest with two total shots in 90 minutes of play.
On Saturday night, the business student played another 90 minutes, finishing with two shots on goal, in the Spartans' 2-1 loss to the defending U SPORTS champion No. 1 UBC Thunderbirds.
TWU is 0-2-0 after the weekend and will now host the UNBC Timberwolves (2-0-0) in the Spartans' Canada West home opener this Friday and Saturday at Chase Office Field. Both matches are set for a 7:15 p.m. (PT) kick-off and can be seen live on Canadawest.tv.
