LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fifth-year forward Chares Nana (Calgary, Alta.) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after helping the Spartans to a four-point weekend with the Mount Royal Cougars and the MacEwan Griffins this past weekend at Chase Office Field in Langley, B.C.

The fifth-year forward played 70 minutes on Friday in the Spartans' 0-0 tie with the Cougars, and 45 minutes with one goal and one assist to go with two total shots and one shot on goal in Saturday’s 3-2 win over the MacEwan Griffins.

The 3-3-2 Spartans will now head on the road to Saskatoon, Sask., to take on the Saskatchewan Huskies. Match time is set for 2 p.m. (CT) on Friday, September 20, and can be seen live on Canadawest.tv.
