LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fifth-year middle Kaylee Plouffee (Sherwood Park, Alta.) is the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week after tying a Spartans record for kills in a match in the Spartans' 3-2 loss to the UBC Thunderbirds Friday night in Vancouver, B.C.

In the lone weekend match, the human kinetics student finished with 26 kills, equaling TWU's single match kill record held by teammate Maryn Boldon set on Oct. 31. Plouffe added seven digs and one block in the Spartans' five-set loss to No. 3 UBC Thunderbirds.

Plouffe and the Spartans will both now travel to Edmonton, Alta., to take on the Alberta Pandas on November 28 and 29 at the Saville Community Sports Centre. Both games will be streamed live on Canada West TV
