LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western second-year forward Artem Hrabovetskyi (Kyiv, Ukraine) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week, scoring four goals, including a hat-trick, and one assist to help lead the Spartans to two wins over the Alberta Golden Bears this past weekend.

On Friday night, the sports management student had a four-point night, scoring the program's first-ever hat-trick, to lead the Spartans to a dominant 7-3 win over Alberta. Then on Saturday night, Hrabovetskyi had a goal in regulation and a goal in the shootout to lead the Spartans to a 3-2 shootout win over the Golden Bears.

Hrabovetskyi and the Spartans will now face off against cross-town rival UBC Thunderbirds in a home-and-home series. TWU will host UBC at the Langley Events Centre on Thursday, December 4, at 7 p.m. (PT) and then travel to Vancouver for a 7 p.m. (PT) game at the Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre on Friday. Both games can be seen live on Canada West TV.
