LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fourth-year outside Maryn Boldon (Okotoks, Alta.) is the Spartans Female Athlete of the Week after helping lead the Spartans to a weekend sweep of the Mount Royal Cougars with 26 kills in six sets this past weekend at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.  
 
In Friday’s 3-0 win, the human kinetics student finished with 14 kills, 10 digs, and two blocks. Then in Saturday’s 3-0 win, Boldon had 12 kills, while hitting .579, along with five digs and four aces.
 
Boldon and the rest of the Spartans will have a bye week before they begin the Canada West Quarter Finals on February 26, when they will host the Saskatchewan Huskies in a best-of-three series at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C. All games will be streamed live on Canada West TV.
