Liverpool, England – The Trinity Western women's soccer team finished their preseason tour of England with a 3-1 victory over Liverpool FC Sunday evening in Liverpool, England.
The Spartans opened the scoring with an own goal in the 25
th minute to go up 1-0 midway through the opening half. Ten minutes later TWU fourth year forward
Kathryn Harvey (Coquitlam, B.C.) made it 2-0 for the visitors from Langley, B.C. Liverpool took advantage of a Spartan defensive breakdown to make the score 2-1 at the end of the opening half.

Nicole Bolder (Calgary) made the final 3-1 when she slotted home a square ball from Harvey in the 55
th minute.

Hannah Miller (Langley, B.C.) earned the win for TWU.

About Spartan Athletics
As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 11 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross country and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens. TWU also competes in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL) in men's hockey and as an independent team in men's rugby.
