LAVAL, Que. – Trinity Western's
Tilly James (Vancouver) and Sophie Crowther (New Westminster, B.C.) have been named U SPORTS All-Canadians after their spectacular seasons.
The duo combined for a tally of seven goals and 11 assists across the Canada West regular season, which led to a silver medal in the conference's championship match.
James, who has earned her second spot on a U SPORTS All-Canadian team in as many years ('21, All-Rookie), was one of the most versatile players in the nation this season, doubling as a high-class defender and a forceful midfielder with goal-scoring capabilities. James was named a first-team U SPORTS All-Canadian after her stellar second season as a Spartan.
Crowther, who was named the Canada West Rookie of the Year this season, slides into the U SPORTS All-Rookie team after gashing opposing back-lines with her pace, scoring two goals and eight assists in her first season as a Spartan. Crowther is one of seven Spartans to be named conference rookie of the year.
