YOUTHFUL SPARTANS FALL TO SEATTLE PACIFIC

SEATTLE – Playing with a young lineup against Seattle Pacific, the Trinity Western women's soccer team lost 3-1 in what was the Spartans final game of their spring schedule.

TWU's Kathryn Harvey (Coquitlam, B.C.) scored for the Spartans, but it wasn't quite enough on the day.

Playing without a variety of regular starters, the match was a key opportunity for several TWU players to earn valuable developmental minutes.

QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Graham Roxburgh
"Overall, under the circumstances, I am pleased that we battled back to make it a game. We showed lots of fight and character and it was a good chance for some less experienced players to get lots of minutes and to see the level that they must aspire towards. We had our chances to tie it late but we showed a little bit of a lack of poise or decision making in the final third. These spring games have been against great opposition and they will make us better in the long run."
