AWONUSI TO REPRESENT IRELAND IN SINGAPORE, VANCOUVER

LANGLEY, B.C. – Trinity Western rugby star Tamilore Awonusi (Dublin, Ireland) will represent his country on the international stage once again, as he was named to Ireland's 7s team for the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series stops in Singapore (April 9-10) and Vancouver (April 16-17).

Awonusi will be looking to build upon an impressive debut performance in January when he represented Ireland on the World Series in Malaga and Seville. During the Spain-based stops, he saw action in eight games for Ireland and scored his first try on the World Series. He progressed within the Irish set-up so much so that he earned a starting role for the bronze medal match in Seville, which Ireland ultimately lost 12-5 against Argentina.
