- The Spartans are currently in third spot in the West division at 9-7, while the Thunderbirds are in first place in the West division at 13-2-1-0.

- Last weekend the Spartans swept the Calgary Dinos 3-1 both nights at home at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
