SAN LUIS OBISPO, California – The Trinity Western Spartans continued their 2024 preseason tour of California with a 0-0 tie to the Cal Poly Mustang's Saturday evening at the Mustang Memorial Field at Spanos Stadium in San Luis Obispo, California.

Yasmine Pahal (Surrey, B.C.) made seven saves and played the full match for the Spartans to earn the shutout tie. Cal Poly's Riley Wilkerson, and Mackenzie Samuel shared the goalkeeping duties and made three and five saves respectively.
The Mustangs outshot the Spartans 12-10. TWU had an 8-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Spartans will have a day off before completing their California tour against UC Santa Barbara on Saturday, August 12.
