BAKERSFIELD, California – The Trinity Western Spartans opened the 2024 preseason with a 5-1 loss to the Cal State Bakersfield Roadrunners Thursday evening at the Main Soccer Field in Bakersfield, California.

Olivia Kranjcec (Okotoks, AB) scored the lone goal for Trinity Western.

The Spartans will have a day off before continuing their California tour against Cal Poly on August 10. Match time at Mustang Memorial Filed in San Obispo, California is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT. Trinity Western opens Canada West conference play on Friday, September 6 against the TRU WolfPack. Match time in Kamloops, B.C. is set for 5 p.m. PT.
