AS IT HAPPENED
The Vikes opened the scoring with a quick goal in the 15th minute. Victoria's Adrianna Hilton sent a corner kick into the centre of the Spartans' box, where McLeish went high to head the ball back into the right corner of the TWU net to put Victoria up 1-0. The Spartans' Crowther got the Spartans on board in the 26th minute. Crowther picked up an errant Victoria pass in the middle of the Victoria third. Crowther took a touch and then sent a high, hard shot at the Vikes' net. Victoria's Mocnik got a piece of the shot but was unable to contain the ball as it rolled into the left side of the Vikes' net. With the half ending tied at 1-1.

Victoria got their go-ahead goal in one of their few second-half ventures into the TWU end in the 63rd minute. Hilton sent a ball over to Nicholas just outside the top of the TWU penalty area, where she sent a shot to the left side of the Spartans' net to put the Vikes up 2-1. TWU's Buttar tied the match with a goal in extra time. Crowther took a free kick from 10 meters outside the top left side of the Victoria penalty area. The Vikes Mocnik went high to stop the shot, but TWU's Buttar was there to pick up the rebound and tie the match at 2-2.
