Men's Cross Country

MULUGETA AND KIPLAGAT TAKE HOME FIRST AND SECOND PLACE AT GEORGE OJA INVITATIONAL

INDEPENDENCE, Ore. – Trinity Western's Yemane Mulugeta took home the first place finish, with a time of 23:34.01 over eight kilometres in a field of 402 runners at the Linfield George Oja Invitational at Oak Knoll Golf Course. Joining him at the top was fellow Spartan Justin Kiplagat, who captured the second place spot, finishing with a time of 23:47.88. A very impressive day from the two.

 

On the women's side, Hadassah Duff finished 65th overall to lead the Spartans in a field of 352. Duff finished the six-kilometre race in 22:33.86. 

 

The men's team finished 5th overall, and the women's team finished 21st.
