LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western fourth-year outside
Maryn Boldon (Okotoks, Alta.) is the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week after helping to lead the Spartans to a sweep of the Fraser Valley Cascades in a home-and-home series this past weekend.
On Thursday night, the human kinetics student had 15 kills and nine digs in the Spartans' 3-0 win at the Fraser Valley Gym in Abbotsford, B.C. Then on Friday night, Boldon had 16 kills, four digs, two blocks, while hitting at .400 in the Spartans' 3-0 win at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
Boldon and the Spartans are off this weekend but will return to action on October 31 and November 1 when they will travel to Winnipeg to take on the Winnipeg Wesmen.
