LANGLEY, British Columbia – In this week's U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, the Spartans' men's and women's volleyball teams and women's hockey team remain in the national rankings.
The Spartans' men's volleyball team remains at the No. 2 spot, trailing only top-ranked UBC, after a weekend sweep of Calgary at home at the Langley Events Centre. Women's volleyball moves up another spot to No. 3 after they sweep the Calgary Dinos in straight sets both nights. After a bye week, the Spartans women's hockey drops two spots to No. 9.
The men's and women's volleyball teams will both host the UBC Thunderbirds in a pair of Top 10 match-ups, with UBC men ranked No. 1, and the UBC women ranked No. 4. Both matches will be at the Langley Events Centre in Building B at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, November 14. The women's hockey team returns to action this weekend when they head to Calgary to take on the Calgary Dinos in a key divisional matchup on November 14-15.
