TOP TEN RANKINGS

LANGLEY, British Columbia – In this week's U SPORTS Top 10, our men's and women's volleyball teams and women's hockey team make the list and move up in the rankings.
 
The Spartans men's volleyball team moves up one spot to No. 2, trailing only top-ranked UBC, after a weekend sweep of Winnipeg on the road. Women's volleyball jumps up three places to now sit at No. 4 after their impressive performance in the weekend sweep of Winnipeg. Women's hockey is back in the Top 10, moving up to No. 7, their highest ever ranking, after a dominant performance in sweeping the Alberta Pandas on the road in Edmonton.

 
The men's and women's volleyball teams will return home this weekend to host the Calgary Dinos on November 7-8. Women's hockey has a bye weekend before they return to action on November 14-15, hosting the Calgary Dinos.

As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 11 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens. TWU also competes as in the NAIA in track and field and cross country and as an independent team in men's rugby and women's and men's disc golf. Since TWU entered U SPORTS in 1999, the Spartans have won 14 U SPORTS team championships and 33 Canada West team championships.
