LANGLEY, British Columbia – In this week's U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, the Spartans' men's and women's volleyball teams remain in the national rankings after weekend splits on the road against Alberta.
The Spartans men's volleyball team remains at No. 2 after splitting with the Alberta Golden Bears. TWU lost 3-1 on Friday night before rebounding for a five-set win on Saturday night over Alberta. The Spartans women's volleyball team remains at No. 4 after splitting with the Pandas. The Spartans defeated the Pandas 3-2 on Saturday night after losing in straight sets in Friday's opening match in Alberta.
In disc golf, the Spartans are ranked No. 10 in women's rankings and No. 11 in mixed national rankings.
The next Canada West conference games for the Spartans men's and women's volleyball teams are on January 9-10, when TWU will host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
