KAMLOOPS, British Columbia – The Trinity Western Spartans had much of the play, but found themselves at the wrong end of the result, losing 2-1 to the Thompson Rivers WolfPack Saturday evening at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops, B.C. The loss drops the Spartans to 2-2 on the season, while the WolfPack improves to 4-2 in conference play.
Fourth-year forward
Holland Stiel (Okotoks, Alta.) scored the lone goal for the Spartans, her second of the season, in added time. Esi Lufo scored both goals for the WolfPack in the 6th and 89th minutes to give her five goals on the season.
TWU third-year keeper
Yasmine Pahal (Surrey, B.C.) made one save in the Spartans' loss. TRU's Floor Ursem made four saves in the WolfPack win.

The Spartans will return home for their Canada West home opener when they will take on the Victoria Vikes on Friday, September 12. Match time is set for 5 p.m. (PT) and can be seen live on Canadawest.tv.
