LANGLEY, British Columbia – In this week's U SPORTS Top 10 rankings, the Spartans' men's and women's volleyball teams remain in the national rankings after the women split and the men swept the Thompson Rivers WolfPack this past weekend at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
The Spartans men's volleyball team remains at No. 2 after sweeping the WolfPack, winning 3-2 on Friday night and 3-0 on Saturday night. The Spartans only trail the No. 1 UBC Thunderbirds. The women drop a spot to No. 5 after losing 3-0 and winning 3-1 over the WolfPack. The WolfPack were ranked No. 7 but now jump past the Spartans to No. 4.
The Spartans volleyball teams will now head on the road for a pair of games against the Brandon Bobcats, Friday and Saturday in Brandon, Man. All games are streamed live on Canada West TV.
