LANGLEY, British Columbia – This Week In Sparta is one of the busiest weeks of the year in Sparta, with 11 teams in action. The men's and women's basketball teams, the men's and women's disc golf teams, the men's rugby team, and the men's hockey team are at home, with the basketball teams hosting the Victoria Vikes and the men's hockey team hosting the Manitoba Bisons. On the road are both volleyball teams, the men's and women's track and field teams, and the women's hockey team. Volleyball will be in Brandon against the Brandon Bobcats, the track and field teams at the University of Washington in Seattle, and the women's hockey team in Winnipeg against the Manitoba Bisons.
