"We are fired up to officially announce Nathan's commitment to TWU Men's Volleyball for 2027. Nathan is a top middle prospect in the province at any age and has long been regarded as an elite talent. We could not be more excited to have him join our program. Nathan has watched the many great middles who have come through our program before him, and he's ready to follow in their footsteps. Standing out with his size, volleyball IQ and elite physical tools, Nathan is a true student of the game. His arm speed, physicality and blocking presence make him an incredibly dynamic and exciting middle prospect.
"Nathan arrives on campus as a provincial champion and national finalist with Ducks Volleyball Club and also having won gold Team BC at the Canada Cup. His play this past season has firmly established him as one of the premier middles in the province, and we are absolutely thrilled to welcome him to our family."Â
NATHAN HERFST
"TWU has always been my first choice to play post-secondary volleyball. More than just being the premier program in the country, they have created a strong culture of personal growth and development. I am thrilled to be able to join the team and the TWU community, and I look forward to playing and contributing to an elite level program while still growing in my faith and academics. I am thankful for the support of my family, friends, coaches and teammates, and am excited for this next step in my volleyball career."

COACH ADAM SCHRIEMER
"We're excited to welcome Drew to the program. His athleticism and ball control make him a versatile addition to our roster. A proven winner, Drew brings championship experience from both Langley Christian and Fraser Valley Volleyball Club. Welcome to the program Drew."
DREW VAN HUIZEN
"I'm excited to continue my volleyball journey at Trinity Western University because it allows me to keep growing as both a student-athlete and a person. Competing at this level will push me to work hard, build strong relationships with my teammates, and continue developing the values that are important to me. Being in a Christian environment also gives me the chance to stay grounded while focusing on both my education and athletics."

COACH ADAM SCHRIEMER
"We are excited to add Colten to our already loaded 2026 class. Colten is one of those athletes who makes the game come easy to him. He is a true volleyball athlete who is excellent in every phase required to play outside spiker. Colten also plays with a genuine joy and passion that we love our athletes to have at TWU. Colten is no doubt a perfect fit for our program and we can't wait to add him in the fall of 2026."
COLTEN COCHRANE
"TWU was always my goal in volleyball. I only really had one volleyball role model to look up to, and he chose to go to TWU, so that had always been my goal. Now that I'm my own person and chasing my own dreams, I really appreciate the environment they've created at TWU. It feels positive and focused, and it's the right place for me to grow personally, academically and athletically."

COACH ADAM SCHRIEMER
"Chase joins a long line of Spartans forged in the powerhouse pipeline of Langley Christian School. Everything Chased does embodies what it means to be a Spartan – whether it's his offensive spiking, commanding presence blocking at the net, relentless competitiveness, or unwavering support for his teammates. He is also a proven winner, with multiple school and club provincial championships under his belt, along with a club national title as well. Chase is a no brainer for us and we couldn't be happier to receive his commitment."
CHASE BENNETT
"I'm excited for my next step in volleyball and the opportunity to join the TWU men's volleyball team. It's been so fun cheering this team on over the years and then personally getting the opportunity to be coached by TWU alumni has shown me first hand the passion and dedication for this program. I chose TWU because I want to pursue both my academic and athletic career in an environment where God is the centre and team culture is key, with an incredible opportunity for growth."

COACH ADAM SCHRIEMER
"Daniil has every tool to be an elite outside hitter in our league. His skill in reception and arm talent as a spiker is what makes him such an exciting prospect. The moment we saw him play we knew he had the potential to have a big impact on our team. We can't wait to have him join us in the fall of 2026."
DANIIL BULEYKO
"I chose Trinity Western to continue my academic and athletic career because it brings together competing at the highest level with the support of a program, staff, and team that shares in my Christian values and strong love for the game. The culture and talent exhibited by the team is remarkable and makes me excited for the growth and future experiences I will have while still being close to home."

COACH ADAM SCHRIEMER
"From the very beginning of the recruiting process with Brayden, it was clear that he is exactly the kind of player we want in our program. He seamlessly fit into our culture, which gives us confidence that he'll thrive as a Spartan. On the court, Brayden is the kind of versatile, positionless athlete that we truly value. He plays a dynamic role for his club team, competing as both a middle blocker and an outside hitter. As a Grade 11 athlete, Brayden was part of Volleyball Canada's National Excellence Program, where he showcased his skills as a middle blocker and opposite. His all-around talent makes him an exciting prospect for our team. We cannot wait to have him join us in the fall of 2026."
BRAYDEN LONG
"I have chosen to continue my academic and athletic career at Trinity Western because of the amazing values and community within the school. The team's culture is incomparable to any other and I feel I can grow into the best version of myself under the faculty and coaching staff at TWU."
