Kathy Andrews

Andrews joined TWU in 2018 as an assistant coach with the cross country and middle distance athletes.

As an athlete, Andrews competed with the University of Saskatchewan from 1993 to 1998 in cross-country and track and field, where she trained under legendary coach Lyle Sanderson. While with the Huskies, Andrews earned a Canada West bronze medal in the 3000m in 1995. She is still actively training and racing as a Masters athlete in cross-country, trail and road racing.

Andrews is currently a teacher and coach at Abbotsford Christian School, where she has worked since 2015. Prior to her time at ACS, she worked at Campbell River Christian School, where she coached current Spartan Joanna Williams.

Andrews is a Level III certified coach, having completed her Performance Coach for Endurance certification, and has been a zone head coach for athletics at the BC Summer Games in each year since 2006.

Andrews has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan (1998).
