LANGLEY, B.C. –Trinity Western forward Charity Field (Burnaby, B.C.) is the Spartan Female Athlete of the Week after notching two goals and two assists on nine shots to lead the Spartans to two home wins this weekend.

On Friday night the third-year Business student played 65 minutes and had an assist on four shots as the Spartans defeated the UBC Okanagan Heat 3-0 at Chase Office Field.

Field followed up on Saturday night with an outstanding game notching two goals and an assist in 57 minutes of play to lead the Spartans to a 4-0 win over the Thompson Rivers WolfPack.

Field now sits in the eighth spot in Canada West scoring with eight points in conference play.

The second-place Spartans, 7-1-3, are on the road this weekend, Sunday, October 8. TWU will travel down HWY 1 to take on the Fraser Valley Cascades Sunday at 1 p.m. in Abbotsford, B.C. The match can be seen live on Canada West TV.
