LANGLEY, British Columbia –Trinity Western midfielder Jordan Low (Port Moody, B.C.) is the Spartan Male Athlete of the Week after scoring the Spartans' lone goal on this past weekend’s road trip through the Okanagan.

On Friday night in a 2-1 loss against Thompson Rivers, the third-year scored the Spartans' lone goal in the 24th minute on a fine individual effort. Low finished the contest with three total shots.

On Saturday night the business student played 12 minutes in the second half of the Spartans 1-0 loss to the UBC Okanagan Heat.

TWU is 0-2-0 after the weekend and will now travel to UBC and Victoria for matches this weekend. The Spartans will kick off against the Thunderbirds on Friday at 7 p.m. at Thunderbird Stadium and Saturday against the Vikes at 5:30 p.m. at Centennial Stadium. Both matches can be seen live on Canadawest.tv.
