SPARTANS NOTES
• The last time TWU was on home court, the Spartans earned their first win of the year thanks to an 87-78 victory over Brandon.
• The last time TWU beat Manitoba was Jan. 10, 2014 when the Spartans earned an 85-84 win.
• Lucas Mannes leads TWU in scoring with 17.5 points per game. However, after averaging 21.9 points per game in his first seven outings of 2016, Mannes was held to just five points in the Spartans most recent loss to Alberta.
• With just four games left in the regular season, the Spartans are looking to avoid becoming the first TWU men's basketball team to earn just one regular season win. Last year, the team finished with a 2-18 record.
• In their lone win of the season, TWU shot 47.6 per cent (10-21) from 3-point range and 49.2 per cent (31-63) from the field. In that game, Mannes finished with 36 points while Kelvin Smith had 18 points and nine rebounds.

BISONS NOTES
• For the Bisons, who have already clinched a playoff spot and a first round playoff bye, this weekend marks their final two games of the regular season as they have a bye next week.
• While Manitoba already has a first round bye secured, there is still plenty to be determined amongst the top three teams in the Pioneer Division. A win this weekend would ensure a top three position for the Bisons, but two wins could set up Manitoba for a top two finish or, if Calgary and UBC stumble, even a shot at first place.
• The Bisons have so far earned a win against every team in Canada West this year. All five of their losses came via weekend splits with Saskatchewan, Calgary, Victoria, UBC and Lethbridge.
• Since a 22-point loss to Lethbridge on Jan. 22, the Bisons have won five straight, including weekend sweeps of both Regina and crosstown rival Winnipeg.
• The Bisons have two of the top four rebounders in the conference, with Wyatt Anders averaging 9.8 rebounds per game (2nd in Canada West) and Keith Omoerah averaging 9.6 rebounds per game (4th).
• The Bisons lead the conference with 17.0 assists per game.
• As a team, Manitoba is second in Canada West with 69.4 field goal attempts per game.
• Aj Basi leads the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game.
