EDMONTON – Trinity Western's women's volleyball team earned a 3-2 (26-24, 25-18, 27-29, 18-25, 15-13) win over McMaster in the Spartans first match of the preseason Thursday at the Griffins/Pandas Invitational, which is hosted between MacEwan University and the University of Alberta.
"It was a great start to the season and I feel that going to five sets was a great way to learn early on in the year," said Spartans coach Ryan Hofer. "We rolled out a variety of lineups and really saw what is working and what we need to work on. I love how these girls are coming together as a group and this weekend is about our side of the court and working on the things we need to do to get better as a team."
