LANGLEY, B.C. – The No. 10 ranked Trinity Western men's soccer team hosts the Calgary Dinos this Saturday in the Canada West quarter-finals at Chase Office Field.

THE WEEKEND STORY
- This weekend's quarter-final game marks the fifth straight season the Spartans and Dinos have met in the playoffs, with TWU holding a 4-0 record in that span, including last season's quarter-final win in penalties.
- This will also be the fourth time in the last five years that Calgary and TWU have met specifically in the CW quarter-finals. In their three previous quarter-final meetings, TWU earned a 1-0 win in 2015, a 6-2 win in 2017 and a 1-1 (4:3) win in 2018.
- TWU won their only matchup this season against Calgary, a 1-0 win at Chase Office Field (Sept. 14).
- The Spartans come into the weekend matchup after a pair of thrilling victories at home to close out their regular season, defeating UBC 4-1 Friday and Victoria 3-0 Saturday.
- The Dinos defeated Mount Royal 1-0 at home in their season finale on Saturday.
- TWU concluded the regular season second in the Pacific standings, with a 9-6-1 record, while Calgary finished third in the Prairie standings at 7-6-1.
- Cody Fransen (Lynden, Wash.) leads the Spartans attack after finishing tied for second in conference goals (9) and tied for third in points (11) in 16 games.
- Spartans keeper Sebastian Colyn (Langley) will look to stay solid after a regular season that saw him finish tied for first in wins (9) and shutouts (7).
- Dinos keeper Jake Ruschkowski finished with the second most saves in the conference at 76.
