LANGLEY, B.C. – The Spartan men's hockey team returns home after a perfect two-game road trip against Selkirk, playing host to Victoria on Friday at the Langley Events Centre.

THE WEEKEND STORY
• The Spartans return home after three straight road games which saw them earn a 5-4 win against SFU (Nov. 2) followed by a pair of wins last weekend against Selkirk.
• Victoria comes to town after winning just once over the previous seven games (1-5-0-1).
• First-year Spartans forward Josh Bruce (Surrey, B.C.) will look to keep his offensive momentum going after a six-point (1G, 5A) weekend earned him ANYTHING BRANDED Player of the Week honours.
• Spartans captain Jarrett Fontaine (Humboldt, Sask.) will make his home debut after returning from injury and picking up three points (2G, 1A) in his first two games of the season last weekend.
• Victoria's offense will be led by rookie forward Keenan Eddy, who sits first in team scoring and second in BCIHL rookie scoring (6G, 3A) behind TWU forward Bruce.
• TWU forward Evan Last's (Surrey, B.C.) 105 career points has him just three points back of Logan Proulx for 10th all-time in BCIHL history.
• The Spartans has outscored Victoria 16-3 over its last two games, winning their previous matchup against Victoria 9-1 on home ice (Oct. 18).
• TWU is 8-2 in its last 10 games against Victoria, including playoffs.
