LANGLEY, B.C. – The Trinity Western men's soccer team hosts a pair of games this weekend, hosting the Lethbridge Pronghorns Friday followed by the Calgary Dinos Saturday night at Chase Office Field.

THE WEEKEND STORY
• The Spartans are looking to build upon last weekend, where they earned their first win of the season in their home opener against Thompson Rivers (1-0).
• TWU dropped its Saturday game against UBC Okanagan 1-0 after a late goal from the Heat in the 71st minute.
• The Spartans will look to kickstart their offence this weekend, as their three goals in four games has them tied with Alberta for 12th in Canada West.
• The Pronghorns come still searching for their first win of the season, coming away emptyhanded last weekend after losing on the road to Mount Royal (3-1) followed by a draw at home against Saskatchewan (1-1).
• Lethbridge goalkeeper Matthew Vandervoort's is tied for the Canada West lead in saves per-game (6.00).
• Calgary meanwhile comes to town firmly in second-place in Canada West's Prairie Division, holding a 3-2 record following a win over Alberta (W 3-1) at home last weekend.
• The Dinos are led by forward Dominik Zuczek, whose four goals are good for a three-way tie atop Canada West, including a league-leading three game winning goals.
• The last time TWU hosted Calgary was in the 2018 Canada West Quarter-Finals, when the Spartans beat Dinos (1-1, 4:3) in penalties to advance to the Final Four.
