QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Ryan Hofer
"Tonight was a hard-fought battle. Mount Royal played good defence and blocked really well, forcing us to be hard. We got to see a lot of different players come through for us.

We had to fight hard and be alert tonight. I'm really happy with the team's performance. Really well done by Savannah Purdy on offence, and Olivia Heinen in her distribution.

"This is one of those games that help us with our learning process."

UP NEXT
The Spartans head to Calgary to play at the Dino-Cougar tournament next weekend, which will be hosted by Mount Royal and Calgary (Oct 22nd – Oct. 24th)
