QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Barret Kropf
"We lost, but we had a respectable game against UBC. We were able to skate with UBC for two periods, but we ended up running out of steam by the third and that's when the game fell out of our reach.
Â
"It's been such a long stretch without playing. Now we have a 20-game season ahead of them, but we really found out what our identity needs to be heading into this year. I'm excited to see if our guys are up to the task, but we have a week to fine-tune it. It's been a long time coming and we're excited for the new challenge ahead of us."
