QUOTABLE
TWU Lead Assistant – Brynden MacTavish
"Tonight was an awesome test against a big, physical, and well coached team who played great defence and supplied heavy service pressure. Our own serving game held us in the games,
Ansah Odoom (Surrey, B.C.) had a few big runs for us. In the third set we had some difficulty finding ways to score but in the fourth had some keys swings from everyone and a big contribution from Maryn [Boldon] (Okotoks, Alta.) off the bench to give us a spark. [Meaghan] Mealey (Calgary) came through wtih two big swings late to end it, and Dora [Komlodi] (Calgary) had a solid night running the offense under pressure. It definitely had a mid-season feel to the game and was fun to be apart of."
