QUOTABLE
Mike Shearon – TWU Head Coach
"Obviously frustrating tonight. Every player on the field was frustrated with how tonight ended. I can't question the desire and work rate from the guys – I think we left everything on the field, it just didn't go our way. That's the cruelty of soccer at times. It wasn't meant to be, nor was it our night. Now's the time to grow from this and move forward. We need to become a team that is hard to beat, and this year will help us learn to do that."
NOTABLE
- The match saw four yellow cards shown. UBC received three while the Spartans took one.
- Thomas Powell ends the season with TWU's second most points (4G-4A) as Soren Di Sabatino (Langley, B.C.) led the Spartans with seven goals and two assists on the year.
