LANGLEY, B.C. – No. 4 ranked Trinity Western defeated UFV 3-1 at Rotary Stadium on Sunday.
The Spartans (9-1-2) were led by
Charity Field (Burnaby, B.C.) who had a goal and an assist in the match. The Cascades' (0-7-5) lone goal was scored off a free kick by Luciana Andrews.
TWU keeper
Hannah Miller (Langley, B.C.) stopped three of four shots faced on the day while UFV keeper stopped four of seven faced.

Field didn't take long to find her way onto the scoresheet, potting a marker in the 7
th minute off a
Makenna Dieterich (Langley, B.C.) assist.
The Cascades would answer in the 29
th minute as Andrews would bend a free kick into the back of Miller's net.
