QUOTABLE
TWU Head Coach Jean Laforest
"Being up 2-0 is usually a lead that is good enough to win you a game. But, give credit to Regina they played a great game, and they kept coming at us. This was a really good night for us. We scored two nice goals off the rush, which was nice because we hadn't done that in a while. And it was like play-off hockey for us."
"Them pulling their goalie for over three minutes was tough. It's like being on a PK for three minutes, but the girls reacted really, really well. For us it is a learning curve, in terms of playing in those types of situations. And I thought we really showed up in terms of our effort and our hockey IQ, so it was great. A good win. Really, really happy."
On Fawcett's play:
"We have had solid goaltending. Kate has been phenomenal; she has kept us in games. That is what you need. You need great goaltending to keep you going."
