SPARTANS FALL TO VICTORIA

Box Score VICTORIA – Trinity Western fell 3-0 to Victoria at the Centennial Stadium on Saturday night.
 
TWU's (3-2-1) night was defined by a red card decision in the 27th minute, bringing them down to 10 men.

AS IT HAPPENED
A red card infraction was committed by TWU in their 18-yard box, pitting them at a man disadvantage with a penalty kick also being given to UVIC in the 27th minute. The Vikes would score on their attempt as the half ended at 1-0 favouring UVIC.
 
UVIC brought the match to 2-0 in the 66th minute before increasing their lead to 3-0 in the 76th on a free kick.
 
UP NEXT
The Spartans will travel to take on Lethbridge (Sept. 17th, 2:15 p.m. MT) and Mount Royal (Sept. 18th, 3:00 p.m. MT) next weekend.
