LANGLEY, British Columbia – Two Spartans have been named Canada West All-Stars after Trinity Western finished 8-12 in the regular season and a ninth-place finish in Canada West.

Maryn Boldon (Okotoks, Alta.) improved on last year's second team to be named a first-team all-star. Fourth-year middle
Kaylee Plouffe (Sherwood Park, Alta.) earned her third straight all-star with a second-team nod. In addition, TWU rookie setter
Tayana Dmitruk (Surrey, B.C.) was named to the Canada West all-rookie team.
Boldon finished the season ranked second in kills-per-set with 3.87 and kills with 290, second in total points with 330, and third in points-per-set with 4.4. Plouffe finished the season ranked fourth in hitting percentage at .337, 10
th in kills with 214, and 14
th in total blocks with 51. Dmitruk finished the season ranked 14
th in set assists with 381, and 15
th in sets-per-set with 5.22.

About Spartan Athletics
As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 13 sports in the Canada West conference, including women's and men's soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cross country and track & field, as well as women's rugby sevens.
