SPARTANS BEAT UFV TO OPEN WEST COAST CLASSIC

LANGLEY, BC  – Trinity Western Spartans open the West Coast Classic with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-18) win against UFV.

QUOTABLE
Ryan Hofer, TWU Head Coach
"I think we struggled to find our rhythm tonight. It was kind of off and on, off and on, and then sometimes the server is on, and then it's off. In saying that, I was really pleased with the athletes and just how they kept working through it. They keep going forward, they kept solving problems, they kept communicating. They kept trying to find the solution that's gonna best move them forward. It's early in the season. We're still just figuring out how to perform at a high level consistently, and this was stop one in that process."
