BURNABY and COQUITLAM, B.C. – In Trinity Western's first outdoor meet of the season, the Spartans earned 25 qualification standards for the Cascadia Conference Championship at the SFU High Performance meet Saturday.
With an impressive collection of performances across the board, the Spartans day – amongst many great efforts – was highlighted by Sarah Ude, who had a hammer throw of 50.09m, and
Caleb Emon, who qualified for the CCC Championship in both high jump, clearing 2.00m, and long jump, with a jump of 6.74m.
QUOTABLE
Shane Wiebe, TWU Head Coach
"On the whole, it was a pretty good day. We had numerous people from our team make automatic standard for the Cascadia Collegiate Conference championship meet. It was a really good start to the outdoor season."
