GAINESVILLE, Florida – Trinity Western's Justin Kiplagat took home TWU's first ever NAIA medal in track and field with a second place finish in the mile with a time of 4:04.34.
After capturing the second best time at the preliminaries on Friday, Justin Kiplagat outdid his own time from the day prior which clinched him the second place finish.
Teammate Yemane Mulugeta was the only other Spartan who competed in Florida this weekend, placing 6th in the 3000 Mile with a time of 8:13.37.
